Velvet Walls

I gotta try, and beat the man today now.
I’m gonna give it, my very best shot.
It’s all a lie, this living for a wanting,
I don’t believe it but, it’s all I got.

Open your eyes…and see the things that stand there,

Remember Dante, it’ll reach you one day.

Hear the beat…of the drums as their exploding,
Hear the screams…of this golden symphony,
Oh such a joy, as the world it starts to crumble,
Such a joy as we set each other free.

Take one more step; you’re closer to the ending,
This stories climax; this stories embrace,
Ode to charm, prepare the bed for sleeping,
What can we hope for but to go with some grace.

But I must try, to beat the man today now,
I’m gonna give it, my very best shot.
If it’s a lie, I’m coming for some justice,
I may not get it but it’s all that I got.
