Oh Nature, Do Your Worst
Alas, my friend these are strange the old times we live in,
Led by shadows who’ve tormented, stole and beat us.
Caught in this battle that nobody here believes in.
Farewell my friend, my foe, our Greed and all our Lust.
We’re gathered on the brink of what is our extinction.
Oh nature do your worst, and give to us our due.
For we still look at what we’ve done and search for meaning.
How can we solve this if we do not have a clue?
To tell the truth, I don’t think anybody got it.
But crazy as it seems each day we wake up hoping,
Honesty dictates that you should try and face it,
But Reality dictates we’ll barely end up coping.
These are the crimes, the times; of man and all his making.
Oh joy and luck you’re still alive to see our death.
The burial of what was once the greatest living.
Such God’s were put to us and yet we failed their test…
