Journey From Oblivion
A Windy rain thunders at me,
I’m on a cliff for all my crimes.
The wheat behind me sways violently,
I am trying to stand against it.
I feel like I am at the bottom,
I have been here so many times.
I try and stand and not give in,
Whatever happened to lights lit?
Stand up those sad, those pathetic,
Ridiculous? Just read my rhymes,
And walk against the evil wind,
And the darkness let us forget.
Brandy right beside me,
Feelings can’t be let free,
It was a night I’ll hold,
I’ve left room in my soul.
And so many people have died,
And I sit here crying for me,
When they died so I could be free.
