Something Special In This Night

Starry, dancing, flickers so,
with gaping mouths in awe below.

Something special in this night,
as man made wonders take to flight.

Legs lie hanging from the pier,
clambering shoulders to get near.

Thousand quite as a mouse,
erupt beneath the old lighthouse.

Darkness shadowed in such light,
the stars they sing as they take flight.

How it never seems to end,
and what a way to make amends.
