Decided to have a go at RoW80 or in it’s full title, Round of Words in 80 Days.

I found Nanowrimo a fantastic experience, although I didn’t quite make the 50,000, I got pretty close. Events conspired to take up time in the last few days.

From it though, I got the basis on a first novel. It gave me something to work on and I am trying to fine tune it at the moment.

I am not going to revisit that work for RoW80 though; I want to have a fresh approach and fresh story.

So I am going to give Ernest Goodheart a new twist.

I have never been sure about what kind of story that character fitted in, but more and more I like the idea of him being a quirky hero. Being a massive devotee of anything Douglas Adams, I also want to give something with a little bit of humour a go.

So from my Nanowrimo story, a renaming may occur for the main character.

For RoW80, I prepare to write part one of a trilogy I’ve had in my head for quite some time.
